Christopher M. Wilcox, DDS

Dr. Wilcox is truly an Okie from Muskogee, born on June 18, 1971.

He spent most of his childhood in Fort Gibson, OK and Jonesboro, LA.

He graduated salutatorian from Fort Gibson in 1989 and then attended Northeastern State University, graduating sigma cum laude in 1994 with a B.S. in Biology.

He then migrated to The University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. He did several externships in Oral Surgery, was President of the Student Council, and graduated with distinction in 1998.

He worked with the Cherokee Nation full-time as a staff dentist for 7 years, while also working in private practice. After having children, he worked private practice at Precision Dental & Dentures and Lakehaven Dental with his partners until December 2010 when he purchased full ownership of Precision Dental & Dentures.

He has been a resident of the Jay area since 2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He and his wife Kelli have two boys Kirby and Gage. They live on 130 acre farm and have 5 dogs. They enjoy hanging out at the lake and traveling together.

In his limited spare time, Dr. Wilcox enjoys bicycling and triathlon. He is an active amateur racer with USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, Rufus Racing and Tulsa Wheelmen. He hopes his children pick up his hobby and enjoy an active healthy lifestyle.

Karl E. Gubser, DDS

Dr. Gubser is a 1978 graduate from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. After graduating, he was accepted into an extensive general practice residency in the U.S. Air Force. In 1981, he began a successful private practice in Hobart, Oklahoma where he remained for 30 years. Dr. Gubser has always enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. He also combined his wood working skills with his love of water by restoring classic wooden boats. It was this that brought him to Green Country and the Grand Lake area in 2011. Dr. Gubser works as a part time associate with Dr. Wilcox and has discovered a new “love”…grandchildren. Dr. Gubser and his wife Donna have 5 grandchildren and are frequently drawn to visit them when their time allows.
